Diverse capabilities: Sunita Madduri
I have started working at AR Metallizing from June this year and it has been a little over 3 months. Surprisingly, everything around me already feels very familiar and I owe it to the friendly people at ARM.
My journey with Nissha started 7 years ago with Nissha USA located in the Chicago office. Before accounting I was a Japanese translator and interpreter and worked a long time in Japanese companies both in US and in India. After moving to Boston from Chicago I have started working at the accounting department at the Franklin office.
Transitioning to ARM especially during a pandemic, was difficult and it was very sad leaving my friends at NUS team but thanks to all the online tools I am still able to keep in touch with everyone.
"In my short journey at ARM I have met so many wonderful people who are always available to support and very eager to help."

There have been a few challenges due to new environment and systems but due to the friendly team at ARM both in US and Europe it has been a smooth journey.
At NUS I was able to connect to Japan team for many cross organizational activities the same way I can do now with the team in Europe. I hope to learn more about them going forward.
Another big shift for me has been that at the Chicago office we did not have a manufacturing facility.
I am lucky to be able to do accounting related to a production plant, there are so many new aspects like cost accounting and inventory management which I can learn now and about new projects and paper metallizing technology.
During my job as interpreter I learned a very important skill – communication. I think this can be very powerful tool which can transcend boundaries and make people from different countries come together as a team bringing a positive impact to all in an organization.
I have been blessed to have met such wonderful people throughout my career.
I think all my experiences have made my journey a lot of fun and am looking forward for more wonderful experiences in the future.
