Our METIVO Butterwrap GB (Grease Barrier), previously known as VacuBRITE Grease Proof Plus, is a paper-based mono-material. It is a recyclable alternative to the multi-layer materials traditionally used for butter block and margarine packaging.
We have developed our butter wrap to offer dairy brands a grease resistant wrap. Our product’s grease resistance (KIT 9 equivalent) is comparable to multi-layer alternatives.
We are proud to have designed a technically exceptional metallized paper for butterwrap application that is specially composed to substitute the non recyclable paper & alumimum foil stucture, keeping the same shelf life properties. The bold, metallized finish offers brands premium looks and maximizes the shelf appeal of butter.
We have refined our butter wrap to have optimum tear resistance and folding behavior. It is optimized to run exceptionally efficiently on the most common butter wrapping machines.
