Metallized paper needs to be handled in a special way in order to ensure that it performs optimally. 

For best performance, allow the wrapped metallized paper to adjust to the pressroom’s temperature and humidity conditions for a full 24 hours before printing. 

The ideal storage temperature for metallized paper ranges from 65 to 75°F (18 to 24°C), and the recommended Relative Humidity (R.H.) range for printing, finishing and storing metallized papers is 40% to 60%. 

Any unused metallized paper should be re-wrapped after each manufacturing operation, unless immediate further converting is planned.
