Spotlight on Paola Adamo (Italian site)
My name is Paola Adamo, I am 51 and have a quite extensive experience in the Customer Service acquired in different multinational companies during my more than 25-year career. Working with foreign countries was the most natural path after graduating with a German language degree, which gave me the possibility to join big companies and constantly increase my experience.
Besides the position of Customer Service Manager, I also covered the role of Demand Chain Manager, a fundamental experience to complete my knowledge of business processes not only from a sales perspective, but also from the more 'internal' point of view of production and procurement and to better understand the impact on the company performance.
My role as CSA Group Supervisor in NMS gives me the opportunity to interface with teams of different nationalities and with very varied skills, which is the real challenge for me.
As much as I am a great believer in a harmonized way of organizing procedures and in the possibility of interacting and creating continuous exchanges of knowledge and experience, I am also a firm believer that the first step is to understand the differences and assess how best to combine them effectively.
The global NMS CSA has great potential to implement more efficient operations, streamlined procedures and to enrich each other's experiences. Thanks also to initiatives already started within the company, the primary aim will therefore be to pursue common operating models as much as possible while increasing the awareness of being part of a single team.
In my private life, I have been married to Paolo for 13 years (we are 'the Paolis' to our friends) and I am the proud 'mum' of three cats. My husband and I are avid travelers, and we take every possible opportunity to explore the world. When I am at home, I spend my free time reading and volunteering with an animal protection and conservation organization
