In the spotlights: Daniel Aklin
My name is Daniel, and I'm thrilled to bring my finance background into the dynamic world of Nissha. Originally from the outskirts of Zurich, Switzerland, I pursued studies in entrepreneurship and finance in both Switzerland and Australia.
After a number of years in consulting I spent eight adventurous years in the chocolate industry in auditing, working across Asia, Africa, and the United States. Since 2014, Berlin has been my home, where I took on the role of Head of Finance in a software company specializing in VR/AR solutions. Significant projects included many years of financial controlling of the development and implementation of the ZDF and ORF Videothek (2 large German and Austrian broadcasters).
Beyond the financial realm, my life finds equilibrium in the thrill of winter sports like curling and skiing. I equally appreciate moments of relaxation on European beaches and the challenge of mountain hikes. As a movie enthusiast, my current favorites lean towards diverse Asian films, and you'll often find me at the cinema.
Married since 2013, I value the rich international environment at Nissha, forming connections with colleagues from Japan, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, and the U.S. I'm eager to continue this journey, looking forward to more experiences and connections within this global company.
